Motorola XOOM; Android 3.0 (Honeycomb) dan Dual-Core Tablet

Motorola dan Verizon Wireless bersama-sama telah mengumumkan 10.1 inch Motorola XOOM tablet , yang oleh Motorola diklaim sebagai tablet pertama yang ditenagai oleh (Honeycomb) Android 3.0 dan Tablet yang pertama yang dilengkapi dengan dual-core processor yang sangat powerfull (setiap core berjalan pada 1GHz), yang juga menggabungkan berbagai innovasi dari Google Mobile dan meningkatkan pengalaman pengguna dengan kemampuan multi-tasking, customization, browsing, widgets dan lain-lain.

Fitur  Motorola XOOM:

  • 10.1-inch widescreen HD display with 1280 x 800 pixel resolution
  • Dual camera – 5 megapixel rear camera plus 2 megapixel front-facing camera
  • Pre-loaded Google Maps 5.0 with 3D interaction
  • 1080p full HD video support plus HDMI output
  • Integrated gyroscope, barometer, e-compass and accelerometer
  • Mobile Hotspot capability supports up to 5 other Wi-Fi-enabled devices

Motorola XOOM tablet sedianya akan tersedia sementara ini dijaringan toko-toko Verizon dengan  3G/Wi-Fi-enabled device pada quarter pertama 2011, dan upgradeable ke 4G LTE pada Q2 2011.
